Dear Fellow Citizens,

Distinguished Members of the Turkish Community in the Netherlands,

I have had the honour of assuming my duties as Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Amsterdam as of 15 September 2026.

During my tenure as Ambassador, Consul General our foremost priority will be to provide our valued citizens residing within our consular jurisdiction with efficient, prompt and high-quality consular services; to stand by you whenever you may need our support; and to further strengthen the close ties between our Consulate General and our citizens.

Strengthening the unity and solidarity of the Turkish community, which makes significant contributions to the economic, social and cultural life of the Netherlands, as well as maintaining close dialogue and cooperation with all segments of our community and our civil society organisations, will also be among our key objectives.

Meanwhile, contributing to the further development of the longstanding relations between Türkiye and the Netherlands, and fostering mutual understanding and cooperation with local authorities, institutions and different segments of society within our consular jurisdiction will remain among the core priorities of our work.

The doors of our Consulate General will always be open to our citizens. Your views, suggestions and feedback will always be highly valuable to us in our efforts to further improve the services we provide.

I firmly believe that, with your support and cooperation, we will further advance the achievements of the Turkish community during my tenure in Amsterdam.
