Press Release Regarding the Visit of The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Zambia

H.E. Harry Kalaba, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Zambia, will pay a visit to Turkey on 7-10 July 2014, upon the invitation of H.E. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.

Following the reciprocal opening of both countries' embassies in a short time, bilateral relations covering all aspects and regional issues are planned to be discussed at the meetings to be held within the framework of this first official Foreign Ministerial level visit from the Republic of Zambia to Turkey. After the official meetings in Ankara, the delegation is expected to proceed to Istanbul to realize business contacts.

Turkey, being a strategic partner of Africa contributes to the establishment of peace and stability in Africa and supports the political, economic and social development of the African countries within the framework of the Partnership Policy with the Continent.

This visit shall constitute a significant stage in our bilateral relations, developing on the basis of equal partnership and mutual benefit, and will form a concrete manifestation of our extensive cooperation with Africa.
