Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attacks Perpetrated in Iraq

We have learned with sorrow that more than 40 people lost their lives and many people were wounded as a result of terrorist attacks perpetrated today (30 January 2015) in Baghdad.
We reiterate that Turkey strongly condemns all attacks aimed at undermining the efforts to bring stability Iraq. We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to their families and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.
Turkey will continue to stand by the friendly government of Iraq and the brotherly people of Iraq in their fight against terrorism.
