Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attack Perpetrated in Somalia

We have learned with sorrow that a bomb attack was perpetrated against a convoy carrying diplomats from the United Arab Emirates in Somalia's capital Mogadishu today (June 24), and according to initial reports, 10 people lost their lives.
We strongly condemn and denounce this terrorist attack which targeted the peace and stability in Somalia. We wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack, convey our condolences to their families and hope for a speedy recovery of the wounded.
Turkey will continue to stand by friendly and brotherly Somalia in its fight against terrorism.
