No: 113, 16 April 2017, Press Release Regarding The Flash Floods In Northwestern Iran
We learned with great sorrow that flash floods in northwestern Iran have resulted in loss of lives and property and that they have so far claimed 42 lives.
We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the flash floods, convey our condolences to friendly and neighbourly people of Iran, particularly to the relatives of those who lost their lives, as well as the Government of Iran, and wish speedy recovery to the injured.
Turkey is ready to help with every possible means to friendly and neighbourly people of Iran if need be.
