We learnt with pleasure that the Qatari citizens kidnapped in Iraq were released and returned to their country.

We congratulate the Government of Qatar on their success in ensuring the safe return of the Qatari citizens to their country. We share the joy of their families and relatives as well as of the brotherly people of Qatar.

We also welcome the cooperation shown by the Government of Iraq during the process for the release.
