No: 238, 7 August 2019, Press Release Regarding Mutual Visa Exemption for Official Passports Holders and International Drivers
Pursuant to visa consultations with the Russian Federation, official passport holders will be mutually exempt from visa. The Russian Federation will grant visa exemption to our citizens, who are service and special passport holders. Russian service passport holders will also be exempt from visa when visiting Turkey.
Likewise, drivers conducting international transportation will be granted visa exemption on the basis of reciprocity.
This mutual visa exemption will start from this day onwards.
Thereby, visa exemption Agreement of 12 May 2010 has partially re-entered into force as of 7 August 2019. We hope that the said Agreement will be implemented with its all provisions.
