QA-53, 2 September 2019, Statement of the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hami Aksoy, in Response to a Question Regarding the Latest Developments Regarding the Disruption of the Peace Process in Colombia
Turkey had welcomed the peace agreement signed between the Government of the Republic of Colombia and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in 2016 and has contributed to the peace process that was initiated by this agreement from the very beginning.
In this context, we wish that the conflict between the Government of the Republic of Colombia and the FARC will be resolved in accordance with the agreement reached in 2016. Our support the peace process in Colombia will continue.
