We are deeply concerned about the news of an attempted coup in Burkina Faso and the detention of President Roch Marc Christian Kabore.

We hope that the constitutional order, social peace and stability of friendly and brotherly Burkina Faso will not deteriorate.

Turkey will continue to stand by Burkina Faso throughout this critical period.
